HAL Junior Executive Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a regular/full-time Engineering or Technology degree from a recognized university or institute in the relevant discipline. The accepted branches vary according to the post.
Candidates belonging to UR, OBC-NCL and EWS categories generally need a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, while SC, ST and PwBD candidates require 50% aggregate marks.
Marks will be calculated based on all semesters or years of the engineering course. No rounding off of marks is permitted. Part-time, correspondence, distance-learning and e-learning engineering qualifications are not eligible for these posts.
HAL Junior Executive Age Limit
The maximum age limit for UR and EWS candidates is 28 years as on October 17, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable to reserved categories according to the recruitment advertisement.
SC/ST candidates receive a relaxation of five years, while OBC-NCL candidates receive three years. PwBD candidates can receive up to 10 years of relaxation, subject to the applicable recruitment rules.

HAL Junior Executive Selection Process

The Junior Executive engagement is for a short-term period of up to three years. This engagement does not provide regular executive status in HAL.
